Modern Methods for the Analysis of Synthetic Medicinal Forms Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

Course Overview

Aim of course: Pharmaceutical analysis is the science of chemical characterization and measurement of biologically active substances at all stages of production: from raw materials to assess the quality of the resulting medicinal substance, study its stability, establishing shelf-life and standardization of the finished dosage form. Features of pharmaceutical analysis is its versatility and diversity of substances or mixtures, including individual chemicals, complex mixtures of biological substances (proteins, carbohydrates, oligopeptides, etc.).

Course schedule

Week1: Normative documents used in the certification of medicines. List of medicines subject to mandatory certification. Week2: The history of the formation procedure, GMP Week3: Assessment of the quality of medicines manufactured in pharmacies.
