Tax Accounting Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

Course Overview

The aim of the tax accounting course is to study theoretical foundations of tax accounting and to learn practical methods tax authorities and experts use in assessing amount of taxable income, tax revenue, tax rates etc.

Learning Achievement

The student will be able to understand fundamental theoretical aspects of tax and it’s relation to practical aspects of taxation, understand why it is necessary to achieve balance between government and taxpayers in order to achieve optimal tax sufficiency

Course prerequisites

Microeconomics and macroeconomics, economic theory, financial accounting.
