Advanced Electromagnetism I University of Tsukuba

Course Overview

This course introduces the fundamental concept of electromagnetic field and the Maxwell's equations. First, the fundamental laws of electromagnetic field in vacuum is explained and Maxwell's equation is derived. Next, the application of Maxwell's equation to the static electric/magnetic field is described.

Learning Achievement

First, the fundamental laws of electromagnetic field in vacuum is explained
and Maxwell's equation is derived. Next, we learn general properties of
Maxwell's equation, which is applied to the static electromagnetic field.
Finally, we learn the various electromagnetic phenomena.
