- What kind of courses are listed in the Course Jukebox?
- Course Jukebox has the list of courses from each CiC partner university accepted and available for exchange students. There is a variety of courses on language and culture, as well as specialized courses in various fields.
- How can I take the courses?
- Courses listed in the Course Jukebox are basically open to students of the University of Tsukuba or partner universities. Eligibility varies depending on the course and the university you belong to, so please contact your organization for details.
On the "Applications" page, you will find links to websites that provide information on the procedures for studying abroad at the University of Tsukuba and information on studying abroad from the University of Tsukuba to CiC partner universities. Please refer to them.
- Is there a fee to take courses?
- It depends on the destination and length of stay. You may also be eligible to apply for scholarships to support your study abroad expenses, so please contact your organization for details.
- How do I convert credits earned at a CiC partner university to credis at my home university?
- Please refer to the information on international credit transfer systems and the credit system of each CiC partner university on the "Credit Transfer" page. You may need to calculate and convert the number of class hours based on the syllabus of the courses you took at your study abroad destination. Please follow your organization's policy regarding the conversion of credits.
- What is the difference between the Double Degree Program (DDP) and the Joint Degree Program (JDP)?
- Double Degree Programs (DDP) offer multiple degrees from multiple universities. In the Joint Degree Program (JDP), a single degree is awarded jointly from several universities. While there are differences in curriculum and other factors, the main difference is whether multiple degrees or a single degree is conferred.
- How can I participate in the Double Degree Program (DDP) or Joint Degree Program (JDP)?
- The Double Degree Program (DDP) and Joint Degree Program (JDP) are open to students from the University of Tsukuba or partner universities. Eligibility varies by program, so please contact your organization for details.
- How much does it cost to participate in the Double Degree Program (DDP) or Joint Degree Program (JDP)?
- In principle, there is no additional fee for students who belong to the University of Tsukuba or partner universities. However, there may be some fees for practical training, etc.
- If I study abroad through the Double Degree Program (DDP) or Joint Degree Program (JDP), will my graduation be delayed by the length of my stay?
- Both the Double Degree Program (DDP) and the Joint Degree Program (JDP) allow students to complete their degrees almost within their academic years without having to stay in school.
- How can I get information about scholarships that can help me pay for my study abroad?

- What level of language proficiency is required to study abroad?
