Course Overview
Polymer gel is crosslinked polymer chains, characterized by having a three-dimensional network structures and containing solvent. The crosslinked form of the polymer gel has two types, "chemical gel" and "physical gel". The chemical gels consist of the polymer chains that are covalently crosslinked, and the crosslinked structure of the physical gel is formed by hydrogen bond or ionic bond, or hydrophobic interactions. In this class, learning the wide range of the basis and application for the functional polymer gels, and the latest research trends.
