Course Overview

This lecture will be focused on the following issues from viewpoints of proton-coupled electron transfer. 1. Structures and functions of metalloproteins and metalloenzymes (Bioinorganic chemistry); 2. Redox reactions in biological functions; 3. Reaction mechanisms of hydrogen-atom transfer; 4. From Photosynthesis to artificial photosynthesis.

集中講義形式で、下記の内容について、最新の情報を交えて講義する。
1. 生物無機化学概論
2. 酸化還元化学:ネルンストの式、電子移動のマーカス理論
3. 水素原子移動反応
4. 光合成と人工光合成:水の酸化、CO2 還元、水素発生を中心に

Competence

「専門1: 化学専門知識」、「専門2: 論理的思考力と問題解決能力」、「専門3: 専門化学英語力」に関連する科目。

Course prerequisites

学類レベルの無機化学、物理化学を履修していることが望ましい。
