Course Overview
Organometal catalysts enable us to precisely synthesize various useful chemical compounds including medicines, polymer materials, and so on. Thus, development of novel organometal catalysts, which often bring a significant progress in the chemical industry, is of great importance. In this lecture, fundamental topics and recent advances related to organometallic chemistry will be introduced from the point of view of both academia and industry. Through this lecture, students will learn basic knowledge as well as expertise of organometallic chemistry, so that they can conduct research activity in this field.

医薬品や高分子材料など様々な化成品合成の精密合成を可能とする有機金属錯体触媒技術は、有機化学工業において必要不可欠な技術であり、新たな錯体触媒技術の開発は化学産業の発展に直結する極めて重要な課題といえる。本講義では、錯体触媒の基礎知識と、その応用例を解説すると共に、錯体触媒技術を用いる有機合成の最新研究成果を紹介する。
