Course schedule

The course will focus on one of the following topics:
- The theory of algebraic groups over a field k.  We would follow
Milne’s book ‘Algebraic groups’ which treats this classical
argument using the language of schemes. - The classification of
finite commutative group schemes over a perfect field using the theory
of Dieudonné modules. The course would be opened by an introduction
to the general theory of the group schemes.
