Course Overview
Structural geology and seismology with emphasis on its application side is the main topics of this lecture.
Learning Achievement
In this course, students will learn about mathematical formulation of stress and strain, techniques of in-situ stress measurement, fracture criterion, seismic source mechanism, deformation mechanisms and rheology of earth materials, fault rocks, and frictional property of fault zone material.
