Course Overview
> The aim of this course is - To understand applications of probability in statistics. - To understand how to organize and describe epidemiological data. - To understand how to perform data estimations, comparisons andpredictions. - To understand how to estimate the sample size and power ofepidemiology studies. - To introduce the principles of multivariable comparisons.

Course prerequisites
- Bachelor degree in Health or Life Sciences. - Language prerequisites: Non-native English speakers must provide acertificate proving a minimum of English B2 level (cf. Europass[http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/]). - Computer and internet requirement.
Grading Philosophy
- Assessment is usually a mix of continuous and final assessment. - Final assessment takes place by videoconference
