Basics of Genetic Analysis Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

To familiarize students with the concepts and theories of genetic analysis. Ensure an effective understanding of the essence of genetic analysis for the generalization of experimental data.

Course schedule

Week1: Introduction. The subject, tasks and methods of genetic analysis Brief history of genetic analysis development. Week2: Inheritance in the case of monogenic differences between the initial forms. Week3: Analysis of pedigrees, twin, cytogenetic methods and application. Molecular genetic methods.
