Course Overview

This course introduces students to the principles and design of medical imaging system. The students will also taught to diagnose and interpret some medical images.

Learning Achievement

1. Introduce the concept of medical imaging modalities used in clinical application. 2. Display the ability to evaluate for each types of medical imaging modalities in term of characteristics, interaction with tissues and radiation protection. 3. Display the ability to design layout of imaging facilities. 4. Display the ability to Select suitable modalities that can be used in various clinical situation and explain the criteria that will lead to a successful diagnostic from information acquired from various resources
