Course Overview
This course explores the diversity of Canadian cinema, focusing on non-mainstream and non-commercial productions. Our goal is to develop a fuller understanding of Canadian society and culture by looking at its artistic productions.

Students will gain an understanding of Canadian history and politics, develop the skills to understand contemporary Canadian society, refine their critical skills and improve their writing in an academic context.
