Purpose of the course is to provide students with a set of conceptual, theoretical, and empirical tools to better understand sovereignty and the system of sovereign states in the globalizing world.
During the course the student learns the following knowledge: to develop and apply critical and analytical skills rooted in their an understanding at recent conceptualizations of sovereignty and authority in the international system.
