Central Asia in the International System Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

Course Overview

Purpose of the course is to provide students with a set of conceptual, theoretical, and empirical tools to better understand sovereignty and the system of sovereign states in the globalizing world.

Learning Achievement

During the course the student learns the following knowledge: to develop and apply critical and analytical skills rooted in their an understanding at recent conceptualizations of sovereignty and authority in the international system. Explore the future of the Central Asian states through external and internal policy
