Course Overview
Students will be able to read and write coherent texts that are
about things they are familiar with, as well as slightly specialized
topics.
Learning Achievement
Students will be able to:
・ correctly understand the content of the reading.
・ deepen their knowledge and understanding of the reading
・ appropriately express both orally and in writing what they understood and thought about the reading
・ learn and use vocabulary, expressions, grammar, and sentence patterns

Course prerequisites
Student must have completed Comprehensive Japanese 4.
Grading Philosophy
Submitted compositions 40%, Final test 60%
