Computational methods for turbulent flows Al-Farabi Kazakh National University

To teach students the basic concepts of turbulent flows. To explain and teach the principles of modeling, fundamental axioms and hypotheses, basic system of equations of turbulent flow.

Week1: Introduction. Definition of an ideal turbulence model Week2: General properties of turbulence. Week3: Spectral representation and the Kolmogorov -5/3 law.
