Course Overview
What should we do to evaluate design? This class will talk about how to plan an experiment to evaluate design works, artifacts and products, how to obtain valid data from experiment, what is psychological and physiological evidence, and what does the result imply in desgin process.
Learning Achievement
To understand how to evaluate design using subjective evaluation and objective evaluation. To understand the relationship between target, purpose, method in design evaluation.

(Generic Competence) Critical thinking, creativity, data literacy, internationality (Specific Competence) Creative expresiveness, problem solving, logical thinking, etc.
Course prerequisites
No requirements. Although students are recommended but not mandatory to take the class 「Design analysis: data science and statistical skills」as well.
Grading Philosophy
Will be based on overall performance in the report submitted by the students.
