Course Overview

Aim of course: to form a modern understanding of the nature of electromagnetic phenomena and the range of their possible applications, understanding and explanation of processes based on the concept of electromagnetism, the independent solution of certain engineering problems.

Students must be able to explain the course and causes of phenomena that are of an electromagnetic nature

Course schedule

Week1: Fundamentals of the theory of electromagnetic interactions. Week2: Scalar potential. Description of electrostatic fields via scalar potentials. Week3: Electrostatic fields in dielectrics.
