Course Overview

Aim of course: Discipline is aimed at developing the skills and abilities of undergraduates in choosing methods for analyzing and diagnosing the structure, chemical composition, morphology of nano-objects and materials.

Master students should be competent in: to possess the theoretical foundations of methods for investigating the size, morphology of nanoparticles and the structure of nanomaterials; methods of studying the elemental composition of nanomaterials

Week1: Historical aspects of the diagnosis of nanosubstance. Classification methods for analyzing nanostructured materials Week2: Microscopy: Scanning Electron Microscope Week3: Microscopy: Transmission Electron Microscope. Scanning Probe Microscope.
