Frontier Informatics A University of Tsukuba

Course Overview
In this course, students will learn approaches of informatics for solving problems in the problem domains in science and engineering. First, students will learn fundamental knowledge in the problem domain, followed by learning major data formats and tools. Next, students will actually apply data mining and/or machine learning algorithms to the real datasets to solve real problems.
This course deals with bioinformatics and meteorology.
Learning Achievement
In this course, the domain experts will give a lecture. Then, students will get hands-on work using real datasets. The announcement of this lecture, including the detailed schedule, will be announced on the bulletin board and e-mails.
