Course Overview
Lectures will cover basic knowledge on the structure and function of the genome, as well as technologies for DNA and genome analyses.
Learning Achievement
This course explains the technologies of genome analyses, and aims to give students basic knowledge to understand current and future biology at molecular and genomic levels.
Competence
This course aims to give students basic knowledge to understand the genome structure and mechanisms of conservation and evolution of genomes. All the classes will be done on line and on demand. Please check syllabus and Manaba at every occasion.
Course prerequisites
Students will be expected to have completed Introductory Genetics prior to enrollment in this course or to possess equivalent knowledge.
