Geometrical Optics and Photometry University of Bordeaux

Course Overview

> THE COURSE WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING TOPICS:

- Snell’s law allows understanding different devices and
phenomenon.
- The study of mirrors and thin lenses allows understanding the
functioning of the eye and of the common optical instruments.
- The photometry is the application of radiometry taking into account
the particularity of the eye response.

Grading Philosophy

> 2 EXAMS:

- One for the lab (2 hours)
- One final exam (2 hours)
