> THE COURSE WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING TOPICS: - Snell’s law allows understanding different devices andphenomenon. - The study of mirrors and thin lenses allows understanding thefunctioning of the eye and of the common optical instruments. - The photometry is the application of radiometry taking into accountthe particularity of the eye response.
- Knowledge of Radiometry (for the Photometry)
> 2 EXAMS: - One for the lab (2 hours) - One final exam (2 hours)
- Principles of geometrical optics - Plane and spherical mirrors - Thin lenses - The eye - Optical instruments - Photometry
- Theoretical classes and exercises: 20 hours (Geometrical Optics:14 hours and Photometry: 6 hours) - Lab sessions: 18 hours
