Course Overview

Precise communication with people having diverse perspectives and personalities is the key to building relationships, and success. Through practices of communication, including effective listening, effective presentation, assertive communication, we help you learn and practice communication methods. You should be prepared to have open and active class participation and require a certain level of English skill.

1評価方法:授業中の発言など積極参加の態度と、到達目標に沿ったレポートで評価する
2割合:授業への積極的参加70%、複数の小テスト30%
3評価基準:上述の評価方法、評価割合の合計で、満点の60%以上をとること

Course schedule

Day 1: Communication Games ? Lectures on Effective Interpersonal Communication ? Effective Listening ? One-on-One ? Constructive Confrontation ? THEORY and Practice via the Games
Day 2: Communication Games ? Morning Session: SKILLS in Practice taking Examples from the Theory on Day 1 and Student Individual Cases; Afternoon Session: Group Work and Discussion on REQUIRED SKILLS, ISSUES, and PROBLEMS & CHALLENGES - now and anticipated in the next job-new position Note ? Expert Feedback and Advice from Instructors vast personal and professional experiences *Identify and work on one’s challenge areas
