Course Overview

グローバル経済の展開を歴史的にみる観点から、各国の経済発展とそれを支える社会経済的基盤の形成と変容について、参加者が文献研究報告ないし論文準備報告を行った上で、解説や議論を行う。パワーポイントを用いて報告を行い、質疑応答を行う演習を行う。その中で、自分の問題意識と先行研究からの論文の問題設定、それに相応しい研究方法、資料収集と研究スケジュール、文献の書き方や論文の全体構成、今後の学会報告や論文投稿などについての知見を深め、修士論文執筆を行っていくための基礎を築いていく。

Through the presentation and discussion of each presenter and the lectures after that, participants can have further understandings on how to write the master thesis.

Competence

Related to the universal competences of communication, internationalities, and knowledge empowerment. As the specialized competences, research and specialized knowledge are related.

Orientation, basic guidance, deciding the presenters
From 2nd to 10th, the guidance and explanations will be given according to the presentations of each student. The following themes would be advised along with the accomplishment of each student.
(1) Setting the research question
(2) Research survey and research question
(3) Research methodology and research design
(4) Collecting necessary research materials
(5) Managing research schedule
(6) Construction of the research contents
(7) Footnotes, Bibliography
(8) Frequent problems
(9) Application to the academic conferences and submission of the article
