Knowledge of the main indicators for measuring the economic and social
development of countries. 
Global understanding of the levels of economic and social development
of regions of the world.

Course schedule

The course is structured around three main chapters: 
- Measuring countries' per capita income  - Measuring inequality 
- Measuring poverty  In each of the chapters, the key indicators are
presented, their construction using available data, the conditions for
their comparison over time and between countries.

The course is based on a set of slides made available to the students
as the semester progresses. These slides are only a support for the
course and do not cover all of its content.
