Course Overview
The aim of this course is to learn the knowledge of medical sciences and problem-solving skills through a research in laboratories. The students can select their theme from a variety of fields in medical sciences based on their own interests.
Learning Achievement
Able to conduct their own research under the guidance of the mentor. Learn basic skills and problem-solving abilities necessary for medical science and inspection science through the research. Able to present and discuss own research in English.

Course prerequisites
This course accepts only students who major in international medical sciences.
Grading Philosophy
Graduation thesis (30%) Oral presentation (30%) Daily work attitude and the depth of understanding (evaluated by the supervisor and a "Supporting professor") (40%) A+ ≧ 90, A ≧ 80, B ≧ 70, C ≧ 60

Apr: Start research Apr: Meeting with a "Supporting professor" Jul: Meeting with a "Supporting professor" Aug: Abstract submission for Midterm research presentation Sep: Midterm research presentation Dec: Submission of Abstract for final presentation Dec: Meeting with a "Supporting professor" Jan: Final presentation, Submission of graduation thesis Actual research acitivities should be more than 180 hrs. Working hours will be checked in a portfolio.
