Course Overview

This course introduces basic concepts in the theory and practice of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). The course will help students acquire knowledge about fundamental principles, techniques, and methods for designing, prototyping, and evaluating user interfaces.

Learning Achievement

After completing this course, students should be able to:
(1) understand HCI as an academic field,
(2) explain fundamental theories, models, and methodologies in HCI,
(3) design usable human-computer interactions.

This course aims to make students familiar with HCI theories and practices. Students will apply the HCI knowledge to solve real-world problems.
