Immunity against cancers and infectious diseases Université Grenoble Alpes
Immune responses against cancers occur and erase most of the developing tumors. Unfortunately, some cancers escape the spontaneous immune responses we are mounting to become a clinical challenge. Lectures will be devoted to detail what is currently tested in tumor immunotherapy to control or cure developing tumors. A parallel with immunological responses against infectious agents will be made. Conferences will be given by researchers originating from Grenoble but also outside (Paris, Marseille, Lyon, and Dijon) to expose enrolled students to Immunology researches performed nationwide. All these researchers are susceptible to host Master 2 students during their internship. The particularity of this UE resides in the fact that some lectures are mutualized via videoconferences with the Master of Immunology from Paris V, VI, and VII. The mid-term evaluation will consist in the presentation of a selected conference by an individual student.
