Course Overview
> The aim of this course is: - To gain insight in the role of benefit-risk assessment andpharmacoeconomics in the process of decision-making on medicines bydifferent stakeholders. - To be able to delineate the process of decision-making and theperspectives of the stakeholders involved. - To be able to explain the rationale of benefit-risk assessment andpharmacoeconomic evaluation. - To be able to evaluate the methodology and results of benefit-riskand pharmaco-economic studies. - To be able to translate of the results into theprocess ofdecision-making.

- Post-graduated leve in Health or Life Sciences. - Language prerequisites: Non-native English speakers must provide acertificate proving a minimum of English B2 level (cf. Europass[http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/]). - Computer and internet requirement.
Grading Philosophy
- Assessment is a mix of continuous assessment. - Final assessment takes place by videoconference.
