> The aim of this course is:

- To gain insight in the role of benefit-risk assessment and
pharmacoeconomics in the process of decision-making on medicines by
different stakeholders.
- To be able to delineate the process of decision-making and the
perspectives of the stakeholders involved.
- To be able to explain the rationale of benefit-risk assessment and
pharmacoeconomic evaluation.
- To be able to evaluate the methodology and results of benefit-risk
and pharmaco-economic studies.
- To be able to translate of the results into theprocess of
decision-making.

Course prerequisites

- Post-graduated leve in Health or Life Sciences.
- Language prerequisites: Non-native English speakers must provide a
certificate proving a minimum of English B2 level (cf. Europass
[http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/]).
- Computer and internet requirement.

Grading Philosophy

- Assessment is a mix of continuous assessment.
- Final assessment takes place by videoconference.
