Students will understand and be able to use everyday, basic expressions such as saying where they live or who they know.

To be able to understand and use expressions used often in daily life. They will be able to hold a simple conversation with a partner who speaks slowly and clearly.

Grading Philosophy

Participation 20%, Assignments & Homework 30%, Final presentation 50%
Note that grades from A+ to C are to be determined based on the total score.

L6 Say what your favorite dish is
L8 Show someone around your home
L10 Talk about your schedule for this week
L12 Invite a friend to an event
L14 Say how to get to a destination using a map
L16 Ask simple questions while shopping and buy things
L18 Say what you did on your travels
