Course Overview

Students will be able to exchange information about familiar, everyday topics.

Learning Achievement

Students will be able to talk about themselves and ask their conversation partner about things pertaining to everyday topics. This course will focus on listening and speaking practice of Japanese used in daily life.

Students should have Japanese ability of at least J1.

Grading Philosophy

Class participation 50%, homework 30%, Final exam 20%
