Students will be able to exchange information about familiar, everyday topics.
Students will be able to talk about themselves and ask their conversation partner about things pertaining to everyday topics. This course will focus on listening and speaking practice of Japanese used in daily life.
Students should have Japanese ability of at least J1.
Class participation 50%, Assignments (homework) etc. 30%, Final video 20%
"This course will cover the following topics. (Even-numbered chapters of the textbook will be covered.) Week 1: Orientation; My family and myself - Lesson 2: My hobby is listening to classical music Week 2: Seasons and weather - Lesson 4: It's a nice day, isn't it? Week 5: Languages and culture of other countries - Lesson 10: I'd like to go to Japan some day Week 6: Eating outdoors - Lesson 12: It looks delicious Week 7: Business trips - Lesson 14: May I use this?
