Course Overview
Students will be able to write compositions of about 1,000 characters that easily convey to the reader their ideas on familiar, everyday topics. They will be able to write expository reports and opinion pieces that are well-organized, using specific examples and quotes, and appropriate expressions and vocabulary.

Course prerequisites
Students who have completed the J5 level for Writing; those who understand the basic rules for Japanese composition writing and can write an essay of about 800 characters; and those who possess intermediate level grammar and vocabulary competence.
