Japanese 7 Reading 1B (Pre-advanced) University of Tsukuba

Course Overview

Students will read many different types of texts, and learn about the logical progression characteristic of each type. This course will include both comprehensive reading and skimming practice. Students will participate in group discussions based on what they have read and will present summaries of what they have talked about.

Grading Philosophy

"Homework assignments 20%, Quizzes 30%, Final exam 40%, Class Participation 10%
(Attendance rate of 70% or higher is required)
Note that grades from A+ to C are to be determined based on the total score.
