Japanese for Professional Purposes (BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test)A University of Tsukuba

Course Overview

We will aim to reach a higher level on the BJT (Business Japanese Proficiency Test). For Students at the J4 to J8 levels. This class is offered as a part of professional career support for International Students.

Learning Achievement

Students will become able to achieve their personal exam goals by becoming familiar with the typical types of questions used in the BJT.

Competence

Communication ability to use the mother tongue and foreign languages properly and make presentations, etc. using various media

Course prerequisites

You should have a Japanese ability equivalent to N1 or N2.
Students with level J4, J5, J6, J7 or J8.

Grading Philosophy

At least 70% attendance is required.
Homework: 40%
Final test: 60%

Course schedule

Week 1: Orientation. listening 1-3.
Week 2: Mark your own BJT trial test/ Answers and explanation about the listening 1-3.
Week 3: Answers and explanation about the listening reading 1-3.
Week 4: Answers and explanation about the reading 1-2.
Week 5: Review the important parts of the textbook,BJT trial test (2) and feedback.
