Japanese for Professional Purposes (Networking Communication) B University of Tsukuba

Course Overview

We will aim to acquire the communication skills necessary to conduct professional correspondance (entry sheets, emails, phone, etc.).For Students at the J6 to J8 levels. This class is offered as a part of professional career support for International Students.

Learning Achievement

Students will acquire skills needed in job-hunting, such as completing application forms, writing e-mails, and making telephone calls.

Competence

Communication ability, Broad perspective and international character, and Cooperative, independent and autonomous attitudes

Course prerequisites

Students with level J6, J7, or J8. Students have to certify this subject fits their level by taking the placement test (http://ttbj-tsukuba.org/).

Grading Philosophy

At least 70% of attendance is required.
Assignment: 40%, class participation (including presentation): 50%, trial interview: 10%
