Japanese Project Work B University of Tsukuba

Course Overview

Students will complete project work based themes they set themselves. They will aim to expand their vocabulary and stock of expressions through coming into contact with native Japanese, and employ all the Japanese they have studied up to this point.

Learning Achievement

In order to know more about Japan, students will compare and analyze the transformation of culture (acculturation) and language in Japan and in their own country, and think about processes of change and the possible reasons for these.
Students will learn to explain their thoughts and ideas in Japanese clearly and plainly.

Competence

Through the video making process, the students will be able to acquire Japanese language and expressions.

Other information

Students must understand the similarities and differences in the cultures of both their own country and Japan and by listening to their classmates and exchanging opinions, it is hoped that it will become a venue for them to think about their life in Japan and to sympathize with each other.
Students must be active in exchanging ideas and as they become one as a class, it is also hoped that they can achieve all the projects and present the results of their study.
This class will be group work.
