Japanese Socio-cultural Studies (Taught in English) A University of Tsukuba
Get familiar with Japanese society and culture, and deepen your understanding of Japanese language.
Students will be able to understand different aspects of Japanese society and culture while strengthening their knowledge of Japanese. The focus will be on aspects of the Japanese Languages, such as dialects and gender.
Competence: Communication ability, Broad perspective and international character
For students of all levels (Comprehensive Japanese 1 to 7.)
Class Participation 30%, Assignments and presentation 40%, Essay 30%
Online Course Requirement
For undergraduate exchange students (tokubetsu chokogakusei). There is a student number limit.
Lecture is conducted in English.
