Kanji 5 B University of Tsukuba

Course Overview

Students will learn how to use kanji vocabulary correctly in practice as they learn how to read and write them. In addition, students will be able to identify their own weak points and devise
methods to overcome them. (IKB vol.1 L1-5)

Learning Achievement

Students will be able to remember reading and writing of intermediate level kanji vocabulary and be able to use them appropriately. They will also learn to identify their own weak points in learning kanji and be able to devise ways to overcome these.

Course prerequisites

Students have to certify this subject fits their level by taking the
placement test (http://ttbj-tsukuba.org/) or by passing a subject one level below this subject.

Grading Philosophy

Homework 35%, Quizzes 35%, Final test 30%
Note that grades from A+ to C are to be determined based on the total score.
(Attendance rate of 70% or higher is required)
