Laboratory II Universiti Teknologi Malaysia

Course Overview

This course presents the principles and methodology for mechanical precision engineering programme. In particular, it designed to understand the theory and application of measuring instruments and equipment’s, to discuss and evaluate experimental errors, to provide hands-on experience using laboratory instruments. Experiments involved are particularly of mechanical precision engineering course such as Fluid Mechanics, Thermo/Heat transfer and Control. Students also learn formal technical writing skills, which are required for all written reports.

Learning Achievement

1. Able to survey and recognise the equipment in order to measure on any application relates to the mechanical precision engineering. 2. Ability to set-up and run the experiments and relates report the theory and experiments based on the learning in the class. 3. Able to demonstrate commitment and team working at all levels.
