metabolism  SKILLS ACQUIRED: Appropriate basic notions in metabolic
biochemistry and enzymology at the molecular, cellular and body
levels. Know the main pathways of anabolism and catabolism of sugars
and lipids. Connect these metabolic pathways to the Krebs cycle and
oxidative phosphorylation.

Learning Achievement

Competence

Course prerequisites

- first year academic level is required, especially in basic
biochemistry
- no language prerequisite
- internet connection is required to download teaching materials
(e.g. slides) and for online self-evaluations

Enzymology), student has a second session of exam with only a written
examination (100% weight of overall mark)) in JuneB. In case of second
failure, compensation can take place within the semester using the
overall marks of other modules.
