Course Overview
This course deals with the Olympic Charter and Anti-Doping Rules as laws related to the Olympic Movement, and introduces interpretation method or function of these legal norms. Specifically, students will learn the composition and contents of the Olympic Charter, the definition of the Olympic Charter concerning the Olympic Movement, its legal significance, and the transition of the Olympic Movement in the previous Olympic Charter.
Learning Achievement
Video contents will be delivered by using the Microsoft Stream.
Lecture materials and information will be distributed through the Manaba system of the University of Tsukuba.
Students will be required to several reports on the content of this lecture.
Lectures are conducted in English.
