Course Overview

The overall aim of this course is to explain the importance of
logistics to the management of international business.

Course prerequisites

Students must have followed the courses "Business and Strategic
Policy" from the MBA and "International French Firms" from the Master
1 in European Business Administration.

Grading Philosophy

Continuous assessment is carried out with an assignment based on the
content of the course with at least two separate grades. One of these
grades is based on an individual assignment. Grades may be based on
several types of tasks (homework, group work, final exam,
presentation, etc.) determined by the professor. No resits are allowed
in continuous assessment.

Course schedule

Upon completion of this course, students will have the following
knowledge:

- Secure business transactions by using the most appropriate Incoterm
2010 during the negociation phase - Calculate airfreight and
seafreight costs - Understand the principles of customs procedures -
Know the set of documents needed for an import or an export process
