Course Overview
笹森担当分:有機化合物の構造と反応性の関係を色々な化学結合の物理的要素,結合距離,結合角,結合エネルギーと関連させて論じる。芳香族性と芳香族化合物,芳香族化合物の反応,立体化学的諸問題,分子の立体配置,配座,光学異性,幾何異性,不斉合成反応,酸と塩基について講じる。 沓村担当分:反応有機,構造有機及び合成有機化学を理解するために必要な基礎的分野として,有機化学の歴史,有機分子の結合論,有機化合物の命名法,反応性を支配する因子,酸塩基の概念,反応機構論,立体化学などを取り上げて講義する。

Learn the basic concepts of organic structural chemistry and organic reaction chemistry, and develop the ability to understand and estimate reaction mechanisms based on these concepts.

Course prerequisites
Grading Philosophy
A final examination will be given for both Sasamori and Kutzumura. A+ to C grades will be assigned based on the average of the overall grades (10% for the assignment + 90% for the final exam) for the Sasamori and Kutsumura sections, respectively.
Course schedule
Aromaticity and aromatic compounds, reactions of aromatic compounds, reactions governed by molecular orbital symmetry, etc. will be discussed. Tuesday's lecture will be given by Prof. Sasamori, and Friday's lecture will be given by Prof. Kutsumura.
