Course schedule
Why do we appear lighter on the Moon than on Earth? Why should you useslightly wet sand when building a sandcastle? These are all questionsthat will be addressed in the introductory course on physics and itsmethods. In the first part, we will study the principles of pointmechanics and Newton's laws. We will relatethe movement of simplesystems to the forces behind them. The second part of the course willbe devoted to the study of the properties of matter, especially thoseof fluids. We will introduce, among other things, the concepts oftemperature and pressure andapply them to describe the properties ofgases and the phenomena of capillarity
