Physiological and Physical Human Sensing University of Tsukuba

Course Overview

In this course students will learn about various technologies to capture physical and physiological characteristics of human. For instance, motion capture and inertial sensors as methods for quantitatively measuring the shape and function of the human body, electroencephalographs and electromyographs for monitoring the activities of central/peripheral nerve system, cardiovascular function measurement methods, and medical diagnostic imaging equipment such as X-ray CT and MRI will be explained.
