The course introduces the main discourses about science (expert,popular,...) as well as their techniques.
- Basic english fluency - Computer and internet required for the online course
- final exam (1.5h, 40% of overall mark) - oral exam (20% of overall mark) with a written report (20% ofoverall mark) - homework (20% of overall mark)
- The origin and structure of scientific litterature: sciencejournals, scientific papers, types of popularization, etc. - Science and society: between faith, confidence and doubt.
Lectures (in the classroom), group work (at home). 11.5 contact hours (10h lectures, 1.5h exam), 50 self-study (estimated)
