Seminar in Biology II: Guide to Seashore Animals and Plants University of Tsukuba

Course Overview
In this course at Shimoda Marine Research Center, students will survey marine animals on a rocky reef, and conduct field collections of planktonic and benthic animals. This will be followed by lectures and laboratory observations, providing a deeper understanding of marine life.
Learning Achievement
This course introduces marine biology to students, and aims to give students a basic understanding of the diversity of marine life.
Competence
Field practice will give a basic introduction of zoology and marine biology for further study in later years.
