Course Overview
Under the general theme of the "Sheol and Grace in the Psalms", we would like to do a philological reading of the selected Psalms in the frame of Online-OnDemand.
Learning Achievement
Research into the topics of the Psalms: especially on the relation between the concept of "Sheol" and "Grace", Our philological investigation and discussion will contribute to the improvement of the "Capacity to Leverage Academic Knowledge", "Global Awareness", "Research Ability", "Expertise Acquisition", "Sense of Ethics", and "Thinking Ability" (Sequel to the previous semester).
Competence
Related to the "Generic Competences": 1) Capacity to Leverage Academic Knowledge, 5) Global Awareness, and to the "Specific Competences": 1) Research Ability, 2) Expertise Acquisition, 3) Sense of Ethics, 4) Thinking Ability.
Course prerequisites
We do not require the knowledge of the Hebrew.
Grading Philosophy
a. Term examinationor report: 60%. b. Papers to be submitted in the term: 40%.
